Competition use only

VERTEX is competition equipment. The following is moulded into the sidewall of every tire, and it means what it says:

• FOR RACING USE ONLY - NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE
• OFF-ROAD USE ONLY - NOT FOR STREET USE

These tires are DOT marked. DOT marking records that a tire was built to a recognised manufacturing standard and assigns it a plant and batch code. It is not a statement that a tire is suitable or lawful for road use, and on this product it is explicitly not. Fitting VERTEX to a vehicle used on public roads is your decision and your responsibility, including any consequence for your insurance or for your compliance with local law.

Series rulebooks differ on treadwear minimums and approved tire lists. Check yours before you buy. We will tell you what we know about a given series if you ask, but the responsibility for being legal in your class is yours.

The figures on this site

Figures shown without a flag are either moulded on the tire or measured by us on our own equipment. Figures marked not verified are our working values and have not yet been confirmed on equipment we would publish. We flag them rather than hide them, and we will replace them with measured values rather than adjust them toward what we published first.

Dimensions vary with the rim they are measured on, inflation pressure, temperature and wear, so every dimension here names the conditions it was taken under. A figure quoted without those conditions is not one of ours.

No performance claims

We do not publish lap times or grip claims, because we cannot reproduce them on demand and a number we cannot reproduce is not a specification. Nothing here is a promise about how the tire will perform for you.

Using this site

You may read, print and share these pages. You may not present our figures as your own measurements, or use the TENEO or VERTEX marks to suggest an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist. The wordmarks, the icon monogram and the pitch graphics are ours.

Do not submit anything through our forms that is not yours to submit, and do not use them to send us anything automated.

Availability

This is a pre-launch site. Products described here are not yet on sale, quantities and programmes described are indicative, and any pricing discussed in correspondence is a quotation valid only for the period stated in it.

Liability

We publish this material in good faith and take real care over its accuracy. To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on it, particularly where you have used a figure marked not confirmed, or applied a figure for one size to the other. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
